WELCOME TO WATERFOWL USA
Southwestern Lake Erie Chapter (S.W.L.E.C.)

In 2002, a group of local sportsmen and sportswomen joined together to form a chapter of Waterfowl U.S.A.. Our chapter name is Southwestern Lake Erie (S.W.L.E.C.).
Waterfowl U.S.A. is a national non-profit organization that is committed to local habitat issues therefore the majority of the money raised as a result of functions put on by this chapter throughout the year stays in the local area for habitat projects. 80% of what this Chapter raises stays in the local area for habitat work. We are committed to preserving America’s wetlands and raising local bucks for local ducks. Since in Michigan over 60% of the ducks harvested are raised locally in the Great Lakes Region, S.W.L.E.C. Chapter believes it is essential to work on improving habitat conditions locally.
